We are getting very excited as we near the two week mark before Aerospike Virtual Summit ’20. We have a great lineup of speakers and sessions, covering deep-dive technical training for developers and DevOps, as well as sessions for data architects and engineering leaders looking to transform to a modern data architecture.

If you have not already registered, you can do so here.

For this post, we’ll provide some more detail into two keynotes from our Premier Sponsors HPE and Intel. Both companies continue to be important strategic technology partners with Aerospike and we are thrilled to have them join us to help our customers best architect the right solution for their unique needs.

Alper Ilkbahar First up is Alper Ilkbahar, VP and GM, Non-Volatile Memory and Storage Solutions Group at Intel. His presentation, “Breakthrough Data-Centric Computing with a New Memory Tier”, will be held on Wednesday, May 13 from 1:20-1:50pm PT.

Alper’s presentation will cover why, now more than ever, you’ll want to efficiently scale your data infrastructure with a next generation architecture that offers affordability, large capacity and native persistence. Intel’s revolutionary Optane persistent memory technology allows software companies like Aerospike to help businesses analyze data faster than ever – evaluating billions of data points, across millions of daily transactions, all in real time for better business decisions. Join Alper as he shares his perspective on how Intel and Aerospike are adapting to the new digital transformation paradigm.

Theresa Melvin Theresa Melvin, Global Chief Architect, AI-Driven Big Data Solutions at Hewlett Packard Labs, will then present “No Data Left Behind: Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Solutions for Industry 4.0 Predictive Maintenance Use Cases”, also on Wednesday, May 13 from 1:50-2:20pm PT.

Theresa’s presentation will cover how the fourth generation of the industrial revolution (Iv4) parallels the global launch of the 5G. In order for Iv4’s novel solutions to leverage 5G’s new Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) service paradigm, comparable real-time, low-latency tools like Aerospike Enterprise Server are placed on the front lines to support these Iv4’s intelligent products, processes, and machine use cases. Join Theresa as she showcases intelligent automation and data exchanged in the predictive maintenance use cases for wind turbines and railways.

Aerospike with Intel overcomes traditional hardware bottlenecks as the first open commercial database to support Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory and Intel Ethernet 800 Series with Application Device Queues (ADQ). Aerospike is optimized for HPE Persistent Memory for any hyperscale, real-time applications running at both the Edge and Core.

There is no cost to join us at the Aerospike Virtual Summit ’20. This will be a great program – including a behind-the-scenes look at the latest Aerospike innovations and you’ll discover how the world’s leading NoSQL data platform works to help solve today’s most critical business and IT challenges.

You’re invited to take part in as much of the Summit as you wish. We look forward to having you join us.
