A cardholder calls about an unexpected streaming renewal at Orbit Stream Media. Run the support agent’s query to find that merchant’s open disputes over the encrypted pipeline.

1. Search with `--cacert` so `curl` verifies Elasticsearch against the tutorial CA. The explicit CA file makes certificate verification consistent even when `mkcert -install` has added the same CA to a system trust store.

    Terminal

    Terminal

    ```bash
    curl -fsS -G --cacert ./security/ca.crt \
      -u elastic:changeme-for-dev \
      'https://localhost:9200/aerospike/_search?pretty' \
      --data-urlencode 'q=merchant:Orbit AND status:open' \
      | grep -E '"merchant"|"status"|"memo"'
    ```

    HTTPS search hit

    Expected output

    ```text
    "merchant" : "Orbit Stream Media",
              "status" : "open",
              "memo" : "Streaming plan renewal"
    ```

    The result confirms that the Elasticsearch connector delivered the Aerospike record over mTLS and that `curl` authenticated to Elasticsearch over HTTPS using the tutorial CA.

The successful search shows that clients must trust your CA and present valid credentials to read indexed dispute records.
