Description & Highlights

Aerospike Vector Search 0.3.1 returns the distance of each neighbor from the query vector.

Note

AVS 0.3.1 is an Alpha release.

New features

In addition to sorting results by distance, AVS now returns the exact distance of each neighbor from the query vector.

Known issues

In this release, multiple clients can create different instances of the same index. For now, this will be handled on the server by retaining the last index. When AVS is generally available, indexes will not be created until the cluster is stable.
