Metrics in Aerospike Cloud

Metrics are available in three places and intended for different purposes:

Console metrics

Console metrics are available for the database cluster in the Cloud Console. These metrics are intended to provide a quick view of the health of your Aerospike database clusters and make quick decisions about scaling them up or down or tweaking the configuration for them.

API metrics

The same metrics available in the Console are available through the Aerospike Cloud public APIs using Cloud API keys. These are intended to help you monitor the basic health of your cluster and make a high level decision like adding new nodes.

Database metrics

Database metrics are available through and endpoint in your database cluster. During preview Aerospike Cloud only supports connecting to your database through VPC peering; you will need to use this connection to access the metrics data as well. These are the same set of metrics Aerospike servers normally publish.
